Business people belong to Rotary because it provides an opportunity to network with like-minded people and to help raise funds for numerous local and international projects.  It also provides an excellent environment for informal mentoring over a weekly meal.  In Wellington there are breakfast, lunch and dinner meetings with invited speakers on local and international issues, many of them relevant to Wellington’s business sector. 

Projects include sponsoring international vocational exchanges, assisting local charities with fundraising as well as contributing to relief efforts overseas. In future editions, IN-Business has invited Rotary to tell readers about key projects with insights from some of the business people who are Rotarians in the Wellington community.
