The Wellington Young Professionals’ official launch party kicked off on 18^th September at St John’s Heineken Bar. “We had 550 RSVPs in 48 hours” said membership committee member Sam Cooper. “It was packed! But it was great to bring people together who wouldn’t normally meet.” The organisation has been running for less than 3 months, and is aimed at people who are in the first 15 years of their careers. “We aren’t a glorified dating service!” laughs Sam, “but we do have plenty more great events planned.” Inspirational speakers, cocktail evenings, a ball, and a bus to Toast Martinborough are on the cards.
